I’ve been outspoken. I don’t believe the VMware merger is good for customers and employees. But there is some good coming out of the union. Unfortunately, we are witnessing an end of an era for VMware. That is a sad thing indeed. However, we in technology embrace change and make the best of change.

There’s a lot of great stuff coming out of this transition. I see employees with the most substantial hand. I believe nothing changes for customers in the sense of priorities. There’s a changing of the guard for those with influence (VMware). I see partners having a more straightforward path for working with VMware once the dust settles. Read or watch my whole take.
