What does $61B tell of about the future?
Broadcom's bet means you better have a plan for hybrid infrastructure
$61,000,000,000 is a lot of money. It’s what Broadcom is paying for VMware, not including debt. What does this indicate for the future of enterprise IT? Workloads that run best on VMware vSphere will be around for decades. We are betting that customers will need help figuring out how to manage VMware workloads alongside Cloud-native workloads and whatever comes next.
vSphere will be around for the foreseeable future. So will IBM Power, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, Storage Arrays, Data Center Networking, Distributed Security, Data Center Security, Endpoint Security, Edge, Edge Network, Governance, Compliance, SAP, Oracle, and the list goes on.
We are planning an in-person conference for June of next year that dives into these topics. We’ll talk about IT operations for the next five months and IT operations for the next 5-years. IT is cumulative. The CTO Advisor focuses on the entire sprawl of your infrastructure instead of the pristine environment presented with most new technology.
Can’t wait until June of 2023? Register for our virtual seminar taking place on July 7th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Check out the abstracts.
